Hi everyone,
My computer was running perfectly but just recently is much slower and I noticed too many services running and high usage of memory.
All this happened when I installed Bitdefender and up graded Spybot Search&Destroy. I disabled the live protection and it did not help, then I disabled them and it also did not help then finally I uninstalled them and it helped a bit but my computer is not running as smoothly and efficiently as before. Even when I am not doing any tasks on my computer the CPU usage is jumping up and down like crazy.
I scanned my computer for viruses and spyware and it has been cleaned.
I did disable not necessary services and it did help a little bit more.
My system:
IBM ThinkCentre,
CPU: 3000Mhz
Memory: 2Gb
Please provide suggestions what can I do to improve performance and restore to previous state.
Thank you in advance for your help.
John
