Could you click here to download CWShredder by Merijn Bellekom and run it, hit 'fix' as opposed to 'scan only'. Reboot when done.

Click here to download Ad-Aware and install. Before scanning click on "check for updates now" to make sure you have the latest reference file. Then click the gear wheel at the top and check these options:

General> activate these: "Automatically save log-file" and "Automatically quarantine objects prior to removal"

Scanning > activate these: "Scan within archives", "Scan active processes", "Scan registry", "Deep scan registry", "Scan my IE Favorites for banned sites" and "Scan my Hosts file"

Tweaks > Scanning Engine> activate this: "Unload recognized processes during scanning."

Tweaks > Cleaning Engine: activate these: "Automatically try to unregister objects prior to deletion" and "Let Windows remove files in use after reboot."

Click "Proceed" to save your settings, then click "Start", make sure "Activate in-depth scan" is ticked green then scan your system. When the scan is finished, the screen will tell you if anything has been found, click "Next". The bad files will be listed, right click the pane and click "Select all objects" - this will put a check mark in the box at the side, click "Next" again and click "OK" at the prompt "# objects will be removed. Continue?".

Reboot when done. Rescan with HJT and post a new log here so that any remnants can be removed manually.
Thank you! I have done what you proposed. Here is the new LOG File:

Unfortunately now I also got another dialer, which I cannot get rid of. It gets
worse…

Thanks in advance!!

Magnus
Could you go here and run online scans (all), allow them to delete whatever they find:

TrendMicro HouseCall
eTrust AntiVirus Web Scanner
Panda ActiveScan

Reboot when done.

Create a new folder called C:\HijackThis, move the HijackThis.exe file into the new folder and run it from there. This is necessary to ensure you have backups should anything go wrong and avoids them cluttering up your desktop.

Make sure that you have no browser windows open as this could prevent the fix from working properly. Open HijackThis, scan and when complete, remove the following entries by checking the box to the left and clicking 'fixed checked':

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://www.sex-family.net/sherbook/search/search.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.sex-family.net/sherbook/search/search.html
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Horny_de] C:\Program Files\GMSoft\Dialers\Horny_de\Horny_de.exe /dontdial
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [win32.exe] C:\WINDOWS\win32.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [System Process] C:\WINDOWS\csrss.exe /i
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Messanger] C:\WINDOWS\s_menu.exe /i
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [System Update] C:\WINDOWS\System\taskman.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [System Update4] c:\windows\system\svchost.exe
O19 - User stylesheet: C:\WINDOWS\win32.bmp

Click here, for instructions on how to enable hidden files and folders to be visible. After enabling, reboot into safe mode by tapping F8 after the BIOS has loaded, find and delete the following:

C:\Program Files\GMSoft\ <– folder
C:\WINDOWS\win32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\csrss.exe
C:\WINDOWS\s_menu.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System\taskman.exe

Reboot back into normal mode, rescan with HJT and post a new log here for a final check over.
Thank´s for your help!

I have done what you told me. But I could not run eTrust and Panda. Another (hidden) dialer started automatically and did not allow keeping my regular Internet connection. But I could run TrendMicro. After that I followedyour instructions. Here is the new log file:

What do you think? Am I clean for now?

Many THanks
Magnus
It runs pretty good now. I also ran Panda ActiveScan and found 9 more viruses/trojans which could all be fixed. The PC runs much faster now and I also got rid of the martfinder link!!!! Many Many Thanks for your professional support!!!! What do you recommend regarding virus/dialer protection? Regards Magnus
You're welcome - glad to help :D

To give yourself greater protection, click here to get the latest version of Internet Explorer. Click here to make sure that you have the latest Critical Update patches for Windows. It's very important to keep your system up to date to avoid unnecessary security risks.

Also, go here to download the free version of Grisoft's AVG AntiVirus program. Go here here to download the free version of Emsisoft's a2 AntiTrojan program.

Install both programs, check for updates and scan your system allowing them to remove whatever they find.
