[Closed] QVDNTLMW Toolbar..HELP

Hi. I have been infected with the QVDNTLMW Toolbar. My computer illiterate dad apparently pressed an OK on a popup lastnite that he shouldn't have. It installed the toolbar and 3 desktop icons. I have run ATF-Cleaner and Spybot. Spybot got rid of 2 of the destop icons but 1 remains (Privacy Protector…with attached webaddy: www.viruswebprotect.com) Spybot got rid of many spyware. I have run virus software but this toobar and desktop icon remain…The toolbar isn't listed on the ADD/REMOVE Programs Control Panel. I want this fake toolbar gone and this Desktop Icon associtated with viruswebprotect.com. Can You Help Me? *** Update*** I have run SmitfraudFix and it has removed the last desktop icon which was PRIVACY PROTECTOR. The QVDNTLMW Toobar is still present. *** Update 8:41PM*** The 3 Bad Desktop Icons are Back!!! Spyware&Malware Protection, Error Cleaner, and Privacy Protector. All belong to viruswebprotect.com…..also the Toolbar is still attached to my Internet Explorer.

If you still need help, Scan again with HijackThis, and copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.

Hi. It is OK now. I sorted it after much reading. It was killed nicely for now. If I have any more problems I will repost. Bye.
