Hello, I have a toolbar that is titled, "Security Toolbar 7.1" and I don't know how to get rid of it. I keep getting pop ups that say that my system has a virus and to download different programs to get rid of it. However, I did do a system scan with Spyware Doctor and it said the files were called Zlob.FakeAlerts. I also learned that this maybe a "trojan". I don't want to have to pay an arm and a leg to get my laptop fixed, so I am asking help from anyone that can solve this problem. I would much rather donate funds to this site because I always come to you all for help, than to pay a one time fee and only solve that one problem. Can anyone please help? CHEERS!!
Hi

We can clean you up, but this time I strongly advise you stick around until I give you the all-clear. Stopping the symptoms is only half the battle.

Follow the instructions below, and post the reults in a new topic in this forum

Download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) to your Desktop. Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges.
  • Close all applications and windows.
  • Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
  • When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt<-this one will be minimized
  • Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt and the extra.txt in your next reply

Dont post them here
