Hi. I have a Dell Dimension 3100 with 1.25 gig RAM and Pentium 4 HT and am running Windows XP home edition. I also have 2 extra HDs that I added from day one.I have had this PC for about a year and a half and have not had any major problems till this past January when it started to freeze up for no reason and sometimes it would just reboot. I had to shut down with the power button when it froze as nothing else would work. I did a Dell Diagnostic test for lock-ups and everything showed up O.K.. I have run several virus scans (installed and from on-line) and everything again showed O.K. and I have run other spy ware programs that did show some spy ware but nothing that was of high security. I keep the inside of my PC cleaned regularly so it's not due to any dust. I also noticed that after some of the freeze-ups my recycle bin, which I always keep empty, showed up with a lot of old deleted files and things. I also noticed that a number of older files showed up in some of my storage drive folders although these files appeared empty in most cases but with some having old info and applications in them. This did not happen after all the freeze-ups but did occur after some. Lately, my PC only seems to lock-up and hasn't rebooted and I can go for a few days before it happens again but when it does it seems to keep happening whether or not I am doing anything or just leaving the PC on and running. I was just wondering if someone could look at my HijackThis log and determine if something shows up. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.
