so thinking he was gonna be funny, the tech for our office decided to block things with our netgear. he laughed and said figure it out. well now it's hindering our work, how do i get in there and take out the firewall block?? :pullhair:
You go to your boss, tell him or her the immature tech idiot thinks he's cute by disrupting work, intentionally and arrogantly causing stress and animosities, and a significant drop in productivity - he obviously needs to be fired for a tech's job is to ensure productively, not hinder it - he obviously does not take his job seriously. Sadly, without knowing what he did, there's not much you can do if he has blocked access. Also, Netgear makes 1000s of products - so without knowing what we are talking about, it is hard for us to help. If this is a home/office router, they are inexpensive and can easily be replaced, along with the tech.
