My PC had a virus attack recently, but it was caught and quarantined/removed by one of the freeware recommended by Gizmo. My concern is that no matter how many times I clean and defrag my PC, it seems to regress to a slow, clogged status in a day or two.
I am not a techie, but can perform basic maintenance and 'tuneups,' but there must be a better way to get longer-lasting results. Gizmo suggested the Hijack This! as a start. I've run the scan and created the log. What's next?

If you still need help, Scan again with HijackThis, and copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
