I'm 64 years old and a little knowledgeable on computers, but I just downloaded a malware product and now I keep getting pop ups. I am ready to reinstall windows XP. I joined your site in hopes I can correct this problem without drastic measures. I have a hijack this log and I don't know where to post it on your site. This probably the last place I can go where people are there to help on another. And for just a donation.
Please help
Thank you

We are sorry for the delay in helping you. If you are still requiring assistance, please post a fresh HijackThis log here in a reply, and I will be happy to help you!

However before posting a new log please following these instructions first.

Please rename the file listed in bold to HJT.exe
C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe <– This file

I'm asking you to do this because certain infections use the default file name for HijackThis to hide 02 and 020 entries and I see you have none in your log, by changing the file name they should show up.
