I have tried running Spybot, Adaware, PC Doctore, ATF, AD Defender, etc. to try to clean my computer and nothing seems to help. It all started with my explorer closing on its own before you had time to even go to a webpage. Then popups would pop up & disappear before you could even see what they were. I noticed iexplore.exe running in my processes upon rebooting my system.

I can no longer reboot or shut down my computer with the start menu, I have to "switch users" then I can reboot or shut down from there. I noticed running Avast that there was a trojan TAC 10 called something like Win32.bzub (seems longer than that but I can't find where I wrote it down.) but Avast would not remove it. It just kept acting like I did nothing when I tried to delete it or even quarantine it.

I know there is something going on with my computer, but I am at a loss on how to remedy this. I have posted the hijack this log below (first time I have ever used a forum or hijack this) and hope that you can assist me in some way!! Please let me know what I should do regarding this or should I just take it to a computer shop to let them at it. I know I have enough knowledge about computers to be dangerous as I have self-taught myself through trial and experiences.

Thank you for your time with this. If I have done anything wrong or if there is anything I can do, please let me know.

Hi Babygirl10ec and welcome to the forums.

My name is Dave. I would be glad to take a look at your log and help you with solving any malware problems. HijackThis logs can sometimes take a while to research so please be patient and I'd be grateful if you would note the following:
  • I will working be on your Malware issues, this may or may not, solve other issues you have with your machine.
  • The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for this issue on this machine.
  • Please continue to review my answers until I tell you your machine appears to be clear. Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.
  • It's often worth reading through these instructions and printing them for ease of reference.
  • If you don't know or understand something, please don't hesitate to say or ask!! It's better to be sure and safe than sorry.
  • Please reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.

Please download ComboFix by sUBs from HERE or HERE
  • You must download it to and run it from your Desktop
  • Now STOP all your monitoring programs (Antivirus/Antispyware, Guards and Shields) as they could easily interfere with ComboFix.
  • Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it will produce a log. Please save that log to post in your next reply along with a fresh HJT log
  • Re-enable all the programs that were disabled during the running of ComboFix..

Note:
Do not mouse-click combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

CF disconnects your machine from the internet. The connection is automatically restored before CF completes its run. If CF runs into difficulty and terminates prematurely, the connection can be manually restored by restarting your machine.
