Computer manipulation is slow to extremly slow depending on task being performed. IE browsing is also slow, I believe that some of the popups are now gone. IE also crashes from time to time, according to MS error report crash is caused by matrix.dll (located in C:/Program Files/WinBudget/bin with size 107KB [110,080b]).

Prior to posting, I followed the topic "Before Posting A Hijackthis Log "self Help", For Windows 2000 and XP Versions". Below you'll find both the AVG and HijackThis Log files.

Thanks in advance for your time and help. It is very much appreciated.
I should also note that I have limited access to this computer. The next day that I will be able to access this computer will be Thursday 20Dec.

Thanks again,

Welcome, sorry about the delay. You still have some serious infections on this computer that we need to get rid of. One being WinAntiVirus Pro which is a trojan. You also have a virus that has replaced legit windows files with infected copies.

matrix.dll <– this is also nasty and until we get you cleaned up you should stay off the internet except for posting here. You can read what this is here
http://www.fbmsoftware.com/spyware-net/pro…matrix_dll/820/

Download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.
  • Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post the Combofix log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

Go to your Add Remove Programs in the Control Panel and uninstall Hijackthis 1.99.1 and download and install the newer version by Trendmicro.

Download Trendmicros Hijackthis to your desktop.
Double click it to install
Follow the prompts and by default it will install in C:\Program Files\Trendmicro\Hijackthis\Highjackthis.exe

What Combofix removes will be just the tip of the iceburg, there will be more to do. :(

Let me see the Combofix log and a New HJT log by TrendMicro please
