[Closed] Lop Virus Infection

Hello Folks

It seems my PC has been infected by the Lop Virus. Every now and then a pop up mesage from AVG comes up and alerts me to the infection which I have quarantined to AVG's Virus Vault and my PC tries to connect to the internet of its own accord. I did download two files from AVG which apparently work in conjunction with each other to remove the Lop virus (rmbg3svx.exe & rmbg3svx.nt), but my system is still trying to dial a connection, although this morning since applying the files I have not seen the alert and and AVG scan appears to show that nothing is infected… so far. I have also run the latest updates of Spybot and AdAware which have picked up nothing.

I am hoping that the problem has been resolved, but at this point I am looking at formatting my drive and reinstalling everything.
