Hi everyone!
I am new here, and I hope someone can help. I own a Dell computer and run Windows XP. For some reason, my IE7 won't load properly. I double-click to open it, and I get this dialog box that is titled iexplore.exe – Application Error. In the box, it says
Instruction at "0x77c47740" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".
Click OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program
Then it closes IE and gives me this message about reporting the problem to Microsoft.
So anyway, I ran deep scans with Ad-Aware, Norton Internet Security, and Spyware Doctor. Nothing has worked. I am using Firefox, but I want IE to work and to get rid of any malware that I have. The forums at Microsoft.com were not too helpful, but they pointed me to Hijack This!
So I went to the Trend Micro site and downloaded Hijack This. When I did a run, here is the log that I got:
Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2

Is there anything I need to zap here? I might also note that I have small kids, so the three-year-old might have done something.
Thanks in advance for your help.
