Hello all,

I'm hoping you can help with a problem I've run into recently… When I double-click the wireless network connection icon in the tray (bottom right of screen) the activity monitor shows that packets are continuously being sent from the PC to my in-home wireless router. This happens even with no applications running. When I disconnect the router from the cable modem, the packets are still being sent, so it appears the packets are (hopefully) not getting to the internet. When I run task manager I notice that lsass.exe is doing continous I/O writes which appear to correspond with the upward ticking packet numbers in the network monitor. Process monitor gives the following:
