Save this as CFScript

[external image: Posted Image]

Refering to the picture above, drag CFScript into ComboFix.exe

This will start ComboFix again. After reboot, (in case it asks to reboot), post the contents of Combofix.txt in your next reply together with a new HijackThis log.

Let me know what to do next, hopefully this is helping.
Hi again,

hopefully this is helping.

It is, you had several trojans which now appear to have gone. :)

Please navigate (using Internet Explorer, other browsers won't work) to the following site: http://support.f-secure.com/enu/home/ols.shtml

Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Start Scan.

When prompted, choose to install the software. After the software has installed, click Accept. Click Custom Scan and check the option for Scan inside archives, then click Start. The necessary databases will then be downloaded, and the scan will then start automatically.

Please be patient as this scan will take a while to complete. If any infections are found then once the scan has finished, the "cleaning" screen will be displayed.

Choose Automatic cleaning (recommended). After cleaning has finished, then the Finish screen will be displayed.

Choose Show Report. In order to post the report, press CTRL+A on your keyboard to highlight all the text.

Then copy and paste that information into this thread.

jedi
jedi, Here it is. Before I did this scan and clean, Kaspersky kept detecting a file (Trojan-spy.win32.zbot.bg) (File C:\51c.tmp) does this make any sense? Hopefully it is gone. Let me know what I need to do next, thanks again in advance for your help! Hi jedi,

It is running better Kaspersky still picks up the same virus. On that note, is there a different anti-virus/Spy ware program you would recomend? I'm not to thrilled with what I have.

Here is the HJT log, let me know what you think?

Hi again,

Let's just check on what Kapersky is flagging, if you have that infection these three files should be present:
\ntos.exe
\wsnpoem\audio.dll
\wsnpoem\video.dll

So, do Start > Search > All files/folders > More Advanced Options > Search Hidden Files/Folders,
Then enter
ntos.exe and search. Post any results here:
Repeat for
wsnpoem

Let me know if anything is found.

jedi
Thanks Jedi, I did a complete system scan after the last posting and may have been able to delet them. I did a search for these 2 file, NTOS.exe nothing was found, but for WSNPOEM a folder was found containing the audio & Video .dll The file it is in is C:\qoobox\quarantine\c\windows\system32?? Does this mean it is gone?
Hi again,

Does this mean it is gone?

Yes indeed, you can delete the whole C:\qoobox folder now.
Your PC looks clean.
You need one anti-virus, one anti-trojan and a firewall as basic protection.
So you can pick between AVG 7 and Spyware Doctor, my personal choice would be the AVG. Kapersky is a good AV, but quite resource heavy. If you have the trial version, you may want to replace it with a free AV.
This link has lists of free AVs, firewall etc, and much good advice:
http://users.telenet.be/bluepatchy/miekiem…prevention.html

Hope this helps.

jedi
Jedi, Thanks for all the help and advice, PC is running much better. :) Kapersky has been good, but does take a lot of resources to run. Have moved everything over to AVG, great reviews and seems easy to use! Is there a particular firewall you would recomend from this list? Thanks again for all your help!!! Aaron
