That didn't work either, I also had another system freeze yesterday, but this time I wasn't scanning

EDIT: The computer now crashes pretty often

I'm out of ideas. My best advice now would be to reformat and re-install.

I think I'll need some time to think about a format. Allthough I do have a backup of the full instalation, it takes 3 minutes

Anyway, if this tells you something: (if not, just say so, and I'll be on my way to a clean harddrive )

Today I started my computer, only to see that all of my Norton Internet Security was "de-activated"
I pressed the solve button, and a dialog saying I have to reactivate it came up. I of course continued, and reactivated it. No big deal, but this has happened before I got help from you, and this is the first time in a couple of weeks that it has happened.

I've seen that alot on our pc's at work. Usually if you wait about 5 minutes it's OK after that. I don't know why it does that.

Hi LDTate, Yesterday, I formatted the computer and brought back my windows backup (Thanks Paws, for giving me the idea ). I updated my computer thoroughly, and I'm happy to say that it's 99,9% STABLE , I ran Orthos for 12 hours without a hitch. I would like to thank you for all the help you've given me, you even helped me when you believed the computer was clean. I realy apriciate that Thank you again, and I hope I don't see you again
