Run HJT and fix this one:
F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=userinit.exe

Everything else looks good.



I would do this but after looking around at different discussions, some say yes, some say no.
Why would I delete this in you opinion and what could happen if I do.
If you would not mind be specific so I can understand.
I never stop learning that is why I ask…..

F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=userinit.exe should have a , (comma) at the end. When you remove it with HJT, on reboot windows will recreate the userinit. No big deal. As you can see, some say fix some say it's OK.

Should I be concerned about the (Missing files) entries??
Some say it's because HJT can't process Vista 64 bit completely or does not know how to interpret all the entries.

Should I be concerned about the (Missing files) entries??
Some say it's because HJT can't process Vista 64 bit completely or does not know how to interpret all the entries.

They're not really missing. It's just Vista.
