[Resolved] hijacked on IEexplorer on second attempt to search the

I feel a dill

but on being hijacked and popups I was able to get rid of them with superantispyware, now I am starting to doubt this program
I am still being hijacked but only after I have searched in the search bar and clicked on a site (any site) which then takes me some where else like
I have trend PC-Cillin 2007 security and it pops up and tells me that I have a dangerous web site and to close, the address for this so called web site (even though it shows me its google.com is http://85.255.118.26/ppc/getres.phpv=8&…u&q=spyware

if i ignor the pc-cillin warning and continue and click on a genuine web site I end up with this site —- http://btcar.com/spyware.cfm?pt=2&rpt=1&kt=1
I will add the hijack this log for your benifit
I am at my witts end here being not to bad at getting rid of viruses and adware my self normaly but this one has me by the balls
I did note that i have a dll file called dmcompo.dll I have tried to delete this file in safe mode and even used killbox without affect but not befor I saved this dll file to another removable disk , in case, well you never know ,lol

I was able to fix the problem
well at least I am not being hijacked
you might notice that there are more problems here
but thankyou for allowing me to post in your forum, I try to leave you guys alone as I know that your flooded with helping others
I was able to get rid of the popup with trend and I used ComboFix to clean the computer with great success
but I am still concerned about this dmcompo.dll file as i know it is new to my pc in the last 30 days as are the following

Hello and welcome to the forums

I suggest you do this:

Double-click My Computer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
Clear "Hide file extensions for known file types."
Under the "Hidden files" folder, select "Show hidden files and folders."
Clear "Hide protected operating system files."
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Important:
Be sure to delete all combofix files / folders and the C:\Qoobox folder
To uninstall ComboFix, go to to Start > Run & type in ComboFix /u

Please do not delete anything unless instructed to.

Next:

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner»

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time.

Next:

Download ComboFix from Here to your Desktop.

Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you, combofix.txt. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick while its running. That may cause it to stall

I rebooted the computer and it was slow to start but thats normal after all the work just done to it.
I lost my office pro 2007 and it has reverted back to Office pro 2003 but thats not a problem as I will retrieve the disk and reload it back on
Adobe is also not working but I will download again.
I was unable to load the latest updates specialy the dotnetfx.exe which is part of the Net Framework 1.1 package it would not let me install but I seem to have got it back ??
I will let you know on how the computer co-operates in the next 24 hours
it seems fine to me at this time

Lets do this and you can let me know in a day or two how it's running

Click START then RUN
Now type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK. Note the space between the X and the U, it needs to be there.

Here's my usual all clean post

Log looks good

You need to create a new Clean restore point.

Note: This will remove all previous Restore Points

Turn off System Restore:

On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Restart your computer, turn it back on.

On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Remove the Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Double-click My Computer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
Check "Hide file extensions for known file types."
Under the "Hidden files" folder, Uncheck "Show hidden files and folders."
Check "Hide protected operating system files."
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Make your Internet Explorer more secure - This can be done by following these simple instructions:
- From within Internet Explorer click on the Tools menu and then click on Options.
- Click once on the Security tab
- Click once on the Internet icon so it becomes highlighted.
- Click once on the Custom Level button.
  - Change the Download signed ActiveX controls to Prompt
  - Change the Download unsigned ActiveX controls to Disable
  - Change the Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe to Disable
  - Change the Installation of desktop items to Prompt
  - Change the Launching programs and files in an IFRAME to Prompt
  - Change the Navigate sub-frames across different domains to Prompt
  - When all these settings have been made, click on the OK button.
  - If it prompts you as to whether or not you want to save the settings, press the Yes button.
- Next press the Apply button and then the OK to exit the Internet Properties page.
Update your AntiVirus Software - It is imperative that you update your Antivirus software at least once a week
(Even more if you wish). If you do not update your antivirus software then it will not be able to catch any of the new variants that may come out.
Use a Firewall - I can not stress how important it is that you use a Firewall on your computer.
Without a firewall your computer is succeptible to being hacked and taken over.
I am very serious about this and see it happen almost every day with my clients.
Simply using a Firewall in its default configuration can lower your risk greatly.

Visit Microsoft's Windows Update Site Frequently - It is important that you visit http://www.windowsupdate.com regularly.
This will ensure your computer has always the latest security updates available installed on your computer.
If there are new updates to install, install them immediately, reboot your computer, and revisit the site
until there are no more critical updates.
Install Spybot - Search and Destroy - Install and download Spybot - Search and Destroy with its TeaTimer option.
This will provide realtime spyware & hijacker protection on your computer alongside your virus protection.
You should also scan your computer with this program on a regular basis just as you would an antivirus software.

Update all these programs regularly - Make sure you update all the programs I have listed regularly.
Without regular updates you WILL NOT be protected when new malicious programs are released.

Only run one Anti-Virus and Firewall program.
