If you had the forethought to Create an AVG Rescue Disk CD, then proceed as recommended in the Alert.

If you didn't, then your best course of action would be to Run HJT and post the HJT Log over into Malware Removal Forum.

Next you can download HiJackThis, from here:

Select the Download item "download HJT installer package (EXE) which will automatically install HJT as it should be onto your Hard Drive.

Run HJT.exe – "Run a system scan and save a log file"
Copy/Past the HJT Log File into a New Topic in the Malware Removal Forum.

Thank You ' ok here is what is happening I have this old computer . And I used it to do a lot pf my pictures on and one day it just went to a half screen and it would not come back up. I could never figure what that was about 2 years ago, so I took it down went out and bought a new and so the other day I thought I would drag it out because it had some pictures on it that I really wanted . So I did some looking around on the internet and asked alot of questions and finally with help from alot of people tthat have been so kind I got it back up and found that I had gotten alot of virus on it . it is running Windows 98 on it but it is not connecetd to the internet so I have been downloading everything in the world to try and fix it and I am know stuck on this one thing The Adware virus thingy. so I did run the highjck this on it and it put my results on a disk and I posted then on the borad so maybe you might look at them for me . Thank You .
