Hi all. Hoping you can help. I have been doing some user acceptance testing for a few Multiuser player games and since installation of these and Yahoo messenger (was running Skype and Windows Live Messenger before) I have begun receiving multiple Dr. Watson errors that result in programs closing. Everything from simple jpegs to Excel. etc. NOt sure what the problem could be, but am concerned. I run Ad Aware, SpyBOt Search and Destroy and a Daily full C Drive Active Virus Shield scan as one of the games I was testing is an adult themed one (though supposedly trogen free. Hoping you can help and including my Hijack file below.

adding a bit more information.....seems like the errors I have experienced persistently look like this...

'The instruction at "0x7c882fc4" referenced memory at "0x7c882fc4", The memory could not be "written"' and complete inability to launch any executable when i close the error message as it shuts down the program attempting to launch.. all this has started after installing a Quickcam webcam.

Not sure if this belongs in the spyware thread any longer as it seems to be something related to Kaspersky anitvirrus software and a logitech conflict.

Can anyone suggest me where to post this problem so someone can take a look at it?

I suggest you go over to our Other Computer Problems
http://forums.tomcoy...oblems_f83.html

Post this there:

I have been reading what a non expert like me could and think it might not be a virus related problem but perhaps to a webcam issue with my logitech webcam and possibly with Active Virus Shield.

IN any case, I am including the original thread below and I have persistently been getting the error

'The instruction at "0x7c882fc4" referenced memory at "0x7c882fc4", The memory could not be "written"' and complete inability to launch any executable unless I either reboot, or simple, set the errors aside and leave the windows up til I am ready to close the program.

What actually triggers these message I haven't quite worked out - but once they start - they pop up everytime a different application is accessed.I have found a temporary solution is to reboot. For a couple of hours my pc then appears to be OK - before the messages start coming up again. There doesn't seem to be a common reason for it starting - but I am trying to find a pattern. If I ignore the boxes and push them off the side of the screen - everything appears to work fine - but if I click on close - as some of the boxes suggest - then the program will close.

Anyone any suggestions on how to actually CURE this problem?
