I am hoping someone will be able to help me on this.

A few weeks ago my desktop PC starting going slow, programs would freeze, errors messages like 0xc000012d would show up, and graphics would be missing on the screen. ie. the word "start" would not be in the green button but the button would be there and the clock would not be visible. When i would go to shut down or reboot, the shut down menu would only show the "restart", "turn off" or stand by buttons but nothing else. It would be a clear background.

Then a couple days later my laptop starting doing it too. So now they both run very slow, and there is missing text and graphics a lot.

I have scanned many times with trend micro, adaware and system mechanic, with no luck.
