[Closed]Stalling And Locking Up Computer

Hello I am a new member and am am having a frustrating time with a computer on my home network. It looks as if I have a similar problem to some of the other member's posts. The computer seems to be okay UNTIL I go online and then is when it may happen ( 10 minutes… 4hours) no rhyme or reason, but it is a TOTAL LOCK UP, the mouse and everything CTRL+ ALT+ DEL does nothing at this point. SpyBot S&D ALWAYS locks up during its scan. It has never gone beyond 12,989 before it locks up. Avast can not complete a scan either. Trend Micro House Call found two items but they could not be removed. I have always been able to pull myself out of stuff like this but this one has me stumped! Our Son and Granddaughter do use this for games and the like but we thought we were keeping our risk at a minimum… guess not

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Sorry about the delay in responding

If you still need help, Scan again with HijackThis, and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.

Please make a uninstall list using HijackThis
To access the Uninstall Manager you would do the following:

1. Start HijackThis
2. Click on the Config button
3. Click on the Misc Tools button
4. Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.
5. Click on the Save list… button and specify where you would like to save this file. When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file. Simply copy and paste the contents of that notepad here in a reply.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
