Two days ago ..without reading my Zone Alarm warning, I accepted a request for my computer to access the internet. (duh)
Immediately, I got a pop-up in my system tray that my system had been infected, and to click the baloon to resolve. In addition. a blank IE window appeared with the following address: //dilet.org/gb.php.
I googled it and it appeared that this was a trojan that had attached itself to my system.
In addition, my desktop went blue and I was not able to change it back as the desktop properties screen was greyed out.
I then updated my spybot and adaware programs and ran in safemode. I fixed all the errors found and booted in regular mode to see if the problem was resolved. My desktop has returned to normal, but it still seems that my internet response time is slow.
I went back and ran spybot again (no errors) and ran hijackthis. Here is the log: (Please tell me if I am safe or additional effort is required to clean my system of malware)
