Cant Run Hijackthis

i try to run the program but it keeps on closing, whenever i type or go to a website that has "hijackthis" my internet closes (with firefox). when i type hijackthis or go to a website that has "hijackthis" with internet explorer its fine, but i still cant run the program, it closes..
