Hi i am new to this so here goe's, i have this spyware on my computer for two days now, and i have tryed everything to get rid of it, except hijack this, i have run it, it tells me to post the results on this forum, i have saved it but how do i post it here, i have spybot s&d and adaware se, and i ran those two but to no luck, i have also booted and ran them again still no luck, any help would be great. thanks.
First, make sure you are using HiJackThis version 1.99.1 (if not you will be asked to scan again, so you are saving time).
Run HiJackThis
Hit "Do a system scan and save a logfile"
this will open a notepad window with your log in.
Make sure word wrap is unchecked (Format > Word Wrap) Don't close this window yet.
Follow this link to create a new topic in the Malware removal forum.
Type in an appropriate title and description (keep it brief though, eg "Browser Hijacked").
Copy and paste all of the text from that notepad window into the main text area of this "New Topic" page.
Add a more detailed description of the problems you are experiencing.
Click "Post new Topic"
Wait for one of our experts to reply to your topic.
Do not add any other replies to this topic as that will slow down your response.
