Hi,

My computer recently started freezing on bootup. I researched a bit and found that a Zone Labs update could be the cause. I uninstalled that and when I went to reinstall, it said Zone LAbs was incompatible with Computer Associates Antivirus, which is installed as part of our At&T Yahoo Internet service.

On startup, many things were loading, including updates for Computer Associates Antivirus, which caused the whole system to slow down; processes would show system at 100% and when Zone Lbs would go to load, the system would freeze, including the mouse and keyboard.

I have run Spybot, AdAware Se and ATf cleaner. Only Adaware picked up a few files, so now I'm not sure if the problem is a virus or just too many things taxing the system at startup.
