I've been trying to download Hijackthis but can't because, it seems,I don't have the right driver installed - what driver do I need and how do I get hold of it? Thanks for any help you can give me -
Do you mean that you are unable to open it once you've downloaded it?
You probably need a utility such as WinZip to extract the program from the zip file.
It has an evaluation version which you can use for a month or so

After unzipping the file to a folder of your choice, you'll end up with the file itself, which is Hijackthis.exe, and that's the one you'll need to doubleclick.
That, or you need to update your copy of the VB runtime files.
