I have McAfee installed on my computer and everytime i try to open a movie in avi format it gives me the following message.

Message: VirusScan Alert!

State: Blocked by Buffer Overflow Protection

As soon as this message comes up my computer freezes and I have to reboot to get it back to a working state. I have scanned both the internal and external hard drives and the scan does not detect any viruses. "Lavasoft" and "Search & Destroy" do not come up with anything.
