Hi I'm using a pentium 4 dell dimension 4300 with Windows XP (but I use the firefox browser)that I found in the garbage. It is full of things I neither want nor need but I'm unsure of what can be removed and if someone could tell me if I have any spyware or malicious programs. Also when I open the task manager there are 34 processes running. I would post it but I cannot copy and paste it. When I boot up the computer it displays the message primary hard drive not found, press f1 to continue or f2 for setup, when I press f1 it goes ahead and boots. I have looked at the bios and it says unknown device for the primary hard drive. Here is my log:

Also if anyone knows how to change the administrator — the previous owner's name is attached to all of the word documents I create.

Open HijackThis > Do a System Scan Only, close your browser and all open windows, the only program or window you should have open is HijackThis, check the following entries and click on Fix Checked.
