Change Display Id?

I mistyped 2 characters for the display id that I wanted to use. Now when I am not on one of my computers, I will not be able to remember the id since it doesn't make sense to me like the one I intended. I can't find a way to change this in the personal account. Must I close down the original account or can a moderator change this or am I stuck with it since I've posted already with the first id? Sorry to bother a moderator over something so trivial.
