Visiting a friend and logged onto their computer and found it to be (what I think) is laden with spyware and viruses of unfriendly sorts. I have no idea what is exactly wrong or what complaints they have, but being a goodly and concerned individual I figured I would try to help them out and the like.

If someone could look at this log and give me a clue as to where to start that would be great.

Thanks!

~Travis

Quick update on this problem that I have noticed from playing around on the computer some…. They have a constant popup from the control panel area saying "Your computer is infected!" click here to download antispyware software. Also, they get lots of popups as would be expected from most spyware and malware. Last thing I notice is that whenever I close out firefox or ie, the default connection setting for both resets itself to using a manual proxy server at localhost, 127.0.0.1 This makes it so that they can't get online without disabling that option (which I am not sure they can handle consistently on their own) Anyway, again, any help is appreciated. Thanks! ~Travis
