I have a 3 month old HP laptop running Windows XP Media Edition. It contains an 802.11g internal card. I have had horrible luck since I bought it trying to keep the internet connection and wireless networking with my desktop up and running. It will work for awhile and then it's impossible to get a connection. If I put it to sleep and wake it back up, it says it is connected, but it is not. I have to restart the computer for it to connect.

About 3 weeks ago, I got a Blue Screen of Death. I had to reload using my backup DVDs I made when I bought it. After spending a few days cleaning off all the "junk", I thought I had it back to normal.

Then, it began locking up for no reason - random.

Google is my home page. I turn on the laptop. It says it is connected to my wireless router. I open Internet Explorer, it acts like it pulls up the Google homepage (no error), but THERE IS NOTHING ON THE SCREEN. It is blank. I then pull up Yahoo, part of the page loads, but certain sections won't. I pull up a variety of websites - some show a blank screen, some show partial screens, some show full screens. Then, I try to run other PC based applications, and only part of the screen graphics show up. So, it is affecting both internet and PC based applications. What is going on? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
