Hi Koreyvarcoe

Run HijackThis.exe, and press Scan, and put a check against the following entries, Make sure all browsers and program windows are closed except for HijackThis.

O16 - DPF: {CD995117-98E5-4169-9920-6C12D4C0B548} (HGPlugin9USA Class) - http://gamedownload.ijjimax.com/gamedownlo…GPlugin9USA.cab

one question …Have you been rebooting after hjt fixes?

After this fix run a few sites and see what if any pop ups are coming.

If they are we will try a different approach.
Good luck mschroe919

Hi Koreyvarcoe. Don't give up we will get it. Your doing well Well some stuborn malwares hide when they see hjt, so lets try this : Go here C:\Program Files\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe where you have HijackThis.exe, right click on HijackThis.exe and click on rename. Rename to scann.exe it will now look like: C:\Program Files\HijackThis\scann.exe Post a new log using the new named HJT This may reveal the hidden malware. Good luck mschroe919

Hi Koreyvarcoe,
sorry took so long to get back been tied up and your log needed some intensive study.
Some more work, but we are getting there.
FIRST
Go to Add/Remove Programs and remove, etc.
remove this:
Cliprex_WhenUSave_Installer
after removing it go here and delete the file in RED
C:\Program Files\Cliprex_WhenUSave_Installer

NEXT:

Please run a free online scan with Kaspersky AntiVirus (works only
with MS Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher).
Go to http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner and click the "Kaspersky
Online Scanner
" button (NOT "Kaspersky File Scanner").
a.. 1. In the new window that opens, click the "Accept" button to
accept the user agreement, install the ActiveX control, and download the
program.
b.. 2. When you get the Windows dialog asking if you want to install this
software, click the "Install" button.
c.. 3. When the "Update progress" line changes to "Ready" and the
"NEXT ->" button lights up with a
green arrow, click it.
d.. 4. Click on the "Scan Settings" button, and in the next window
select the "extended" database, and click Ok.
e.. 5. Under "Please select a target to scan:", click My Computer
to start the scan.
6. When the scan is finished, click the "Save as Text" button, and
save the file as kavscan.txt to your Desktop, close the Kaspersky On-line
Scanner window, and post the text in kavscan.txt in your next reply.

Restart your system, and post a new HijackThis log, and the log from
Kaspersky's on-line virus scan.
Now go ahead and set your computer to show hidden files like so:

Question
can you tell me what files are in this directory
C:\WINDOWS\system32\appmgmt

I could not run Kaspersky or w/e it is called because my browsers didnt load them. :(

As for the virusscan.jotti:

This is for fdabafae.dll:

POSSIBLY INFECTED/MALWARE (Note: this file has been scanned before. Therefore, this file's scan results will not be stored in the database) (Note: this file was only classified as malware by scanners known to generate more false positives than the average scanner. Do not consider these results definately accurate. Also, because of this, results of this scan will not be recorded in the database.)

All the others returned "Found Nothing".

Yes it was a blank folder. I deleted it.

Same as Cliprex_WhenUSave_Installer.

Both deleted.
Hi Koreyvarcoe, I see your using firefox instead of internet explorer. Do you still hav aceess to IE? I have fire fox and ie too, both work for me. Did you try to get on the net with IE? If you can try the Kaspersky AntiVirus good luck mschroe919
Hi Koreyvarcoe.
Dr.Web CureIt is a powerful antivirus which recognizes approximately 150.000 malwares.
It allows scanner the hard disks as well as the entering and outgoing emails.
Finally a module of protection allows scanner the files used
Tutorial and Guide Dr.Web CureIt Here:
http://www.malekal.com
.
* Download Dr.Web CureItto the desktop:
ftp://ftp.drweb.com/pub/drweb/cureit/drweb-cureit.exe
Doubleclick the drweb-cureit.exe file and Allow to run the express scan
This will scan the files currently running in memory and when something is found, click the yes button when it asks you if you want to cure it. This is only a short scan.
Once the short scan has finished, mark the drives that you want to scan.
Select all drives. A red dot shows which drives have been chosen.
Click the green arrow at the right, and the scan will start.
Click 'Yes to all' if it asks if you want to cure/move the file.
When the scan has finished, look if you can click next icon next to the files found:

[external image: Posted Image]
If so, click it and then click the next icon right below and select Move incurable as you'll see in next image:
[external image: Posted Image]

This will move it to the %userprofile%\DoctorWeb\quarantaine-folder if it can't be cured. (this in case if we need samples)
After selecting, in the Dr.Web CureIt menu on top, click fileand choose save report list
Save the report to your desktop. The report will be called DrWeb.csv
Close Dr.Web Cureit.
Reboot your computer!! Because it could be possible that files in use will be moved/deleted during reboot.
After reboot, post the contents of the log from Dr.Web you saved previously in your next reply.
along with another hjt log
Good luck mschrp919
