Hi hope someone can help me with my computer problem.
There are 5 user (2 adults 3 teens… need I say more : )) on this computer but I am the administrator. I also hope this isn’t too much info…sorry.

from a trusted friend when he was on msn. He clicked on it because his hotmail address (which I have changed to *) was in it and as you can see he though his email address was at this questionable web site. As soon as he clicked on it he said it started downloading “stuff” into our computer. On top of that he says his msn friends are now becoming infected when he goes on msn…not always but sometimes. …Than it ask me to click on ‘Perform this Action’…and I do…than a window pops open that says..

I click on it and and nothing happens so I click on the ‘OK’ below and LiveUpdate window opens up and I start the LiveUpdate…it does it’s thing and than tells me LiveUpdate session is complete and I close it

And last thing… I went to Symantec ‘SymantecTM AutoFix Tool’ sight and tried to see if it could be fixed this way but it didn’t work as I couldn’t get into there sight once the problem was diagnosed.
Oh yes one other thing my system restore seems to be turning itself off every time I shut down the computer. Of course I tried to go that rout but once it’s been shut off all restore points have been lost

And last thing… I went to Symantec ‘SymantecTM AutoFix Tool’ sight and tried to see if it could be fixed this way but it didn’t work as I couldn’t get into there sight once the problem was diagnosed.
Oh yes one other thing my system restore seems to be turning itself off every time I shut down the computer. Of course I tried to go that rout but once it’s been shut off all restore points have been lost
