Raid Os Install Problem

HI, great forum btw guys. Recently my polish friend bought this Sony Vaio VGN-R21S laptop. He wants me to reinstall it with his Polish version of XP. Every time I go to do it, the Vaio says that there is no hard disk found when I push enter after booting off the XP disk. I have tried it with both hard drives and the exact same thing happens, although with both plugged in, it boots up.

I am not too experienced with RAID configurations, but I'm guessing this has one and is affecting how to reinstall this OS. Can anyone help me?

Sorry to hear of the problems with the re installation of XP.
Presumably you have the raid drivers handy on floppy disc?
if so you will need to hit (I think if I remember correctly) F6 to install them, and if the machine doesn't have a floppy drive then its bad news! you really do need the drivers on a floppy.
