This is a stand alone that is off my company network. It is supposed to only be connected to the internet via a wireless connection. I believe our whole company's systems are hijacked and our IT guy won't here it. We don't even have any protection other than Symantec corporate. Please help!!

Thank you for your kind assistance. I was able to get as far as going into safe mode and then my computer would not let me in. The font was REALLY big and my user name and password, my IT guy's user name and password AND the Administrator name and password would not let me in. The error message each time was the same " Make sure user name and domain are correct, then type your passowrd again. " I have not deviated from my instructions except to close out of safe mode and come whining back to you guys. In the past, I have tried to take off some"weird" files and gotten large font and also a strange keyboard! At least I am sure I have something deep within!! WHAT NOW???
 After doing EXACTLY what my instructions said, I did run it in normal mode. 5 cookies labeled "moderate" were found. When I hit "apply all actions" it would not let me go into reports. I also could not make a copy of the screen to show you…so I closed the program. As I tried to go back to my email, my computer went blank and then my email was "frozen" with that strange tiny blank, white icon up in the left hand corner appeared. )In the past it comes up when I am downloading a file or when my computer does a "computer not responding"). The screen was only blank, maybe 5 seconds and then my email came open and here I am. PS..In my excitement of waiting for the forum last night, I ran the XoftSpyXE advertised in your website and it found a 2 bugs, one a variant of the CWS virus, but I didn't "fix" them because I didn't want to change info you have. AVG didn't find anything like that??? FYI What now, oh great ones???

I would fix those.

Download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.
  • Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall
I ran XoftSpySe and it found and fixed IBIS/Hunt Toolbar and CWS.Oslogo, if this is helpful. I also ran the RegCure program and it fixed 572 items.
