Help With F2 - Reg:system.ini: Shell=

hi there , im a pc newby needing help, can anyone tell me what F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell= is ? and if its safe to delete it? had trouble recently with the google toolbar and not sure if this is left over from that.

You can fix it. The default should be:
F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=explorer.exe

Run hijackthis. Hit None of the above, Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a Check in the box on the left side on these:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

Log looks good. Any other issues?

done what you said, seems to have fixed the problem, got no other issues (thankfully) :D thanks for your help :) ps, does my log look ok to you ?
