I'm running an Acer TravelMate 2420 w/ a Celeron M 1.5gHz processor and 1.24 gb Ram. OS is Windows XP w/ SP2. Lately this computer has been extremely slow as if everything it does is in slow motion (i.e. adware scans, opening browser windows or applications, etc.) I've run an avast antivirus bootscan and removed 5 files, run an ad-aware scan, and attempted a spybot scan but it was so slow i was afraid I'd be here until tomorrow waiting on it to finish. I use K9web protection while online and have Windows Firewall turned on. I've also disabled some unneccessary system processes. Until today I ran automatic updates and I use a program to clear my internet history and files with each shutdown so I can't seem to figure out what the problem is and I am becoming very frustrated. Here's my HJT Log if anyone can help.
Thanks in advance.
Jenn
