I have also been getting this error message when typing or using a JAVA device on a few webpages. I don't understand what this means?

A Runtime Error has occurred.
Do you wish to debug?

Line: 402
Error: Object Expected

Should I debug it? How would I fix it?

Lets try updating your Java, delete all old versions from add/remove programs first:

Please do this…

1. Disable AVG Anti-Spyware Resident Shield
Please check the following settings:
Click the Shield icon at the top.
Under Resident shield is… make sure that this shows as inactive or not available in the free version.
If necessary, change it.
Close AVG Anti-Spyware. Do not scan.

2. Open up SuperAntiSpyware > Preferences > General and Start-up > Start-up Options > Uncheck > Start SAS when Windows Starts.
"SAS free" provides no real time protection so there's no need for it to be running, I suggest you keep the program and update regularly - you can use it to scan for malware. It's an excellent program. When you want to start it - just double click on the SAS icon.

3. Please disable TeaTimer and SDHelper by opening Spybot SD and on the left menu choose Tools and then Resident. In the right hand pane you will see a check box for TeaTimer and for SDHelper . Please uncheck both boxes and then close Spybot.

Make sure you only have one anti virus installed on the system

These aren't needed at startup - lets disable them for now and see how things run - you can always restore them if needed using HJT backups.

Close ALL programs down, leaving ONLY HijackThis running - Click Scan and…..
Place a check against the following items:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [UpdReg] C:\WINDOWS\UpdReg.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HP Software Update] C:\Program Files\HP\HP Software Update\HPwuSchd2.exe

Click on Fix Checked and exit HijackThis.

Reboot and post a fresh HijackThis log and we'll take another look, please let me know if there's any change, MrC
Another Update:

Sometimes when I'm away from my computer… let's say for about 2 hours or so… I will get this message that also pops up on my desktop… what does this mean?

nView Desktop Manager has detected that the application ccapp is not responding. When an unresponsive application is managed by nView Desktop Manager software, other applications can also become unresponsive. Do you want to disable nView Desktop Manager for this application?

Then it asks you yes or no?
Mr. C. - I deleted the Java program from my computer. I clicked on the link and when it starts to download the new Java the error message says:

"The installer can not proceed with the Current Internet Connection proxy settings. Please check the Installation Notes for more information.

I don't want to screw anything up. I'll be patiently waiting for your response.
Mr C. - Thank you so much. I installed the updated JAVA.

For some odd reason I can't log into a few websites. I don't understand why? For instance:

http://www.nationalcity.com will not load on my computer.
http://www.hotmail.com will not load on my computer.

A blank white screen comes up and says Internet Explorer can not display the webage. But all the other webpages are working.

Also, a few other webpages load… but when I require to give a screen name and password and hit the enter button… that blank white screen says Internet Explorer can not display the webpage.

Did my settings change somehow? I can't figure out how to get it back to normal?

Thank you for your help…
Mr C. - I was able to recover from those websites that weren't uploading effectively. So don't worry about that. I just ran the Norton Virus Check… and after it was complete… I tried my explorer and everything was fine. Why does it do that? This computer is so werid. Everytime I have an internet-explorer problem.. I run the virus check and everything goes back to normal. I wonder if there's something wrong with that Norton Firewall? Or something to that nature? Weird…

Ok… I'm going to update everything else that you told me to do…. and give you another HiJack list… and hopefully everything will be fine now?
