Hi All;

Unable to access the Internet, E-mail server. Checked the ipconfig /all and everything is the same as another computer I have running. Un-installed and re-installed the Network Adpater. Can connect to the computer via "pcAnywhere", but no other Internet access works. Here is my HiJackThis Log file for your review and advice. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks….

Hi All; I used "msconfig" and removed all items referring to McAfee from the Services Tab. Rebooted the computer and then I got my Internet access back. I then proceeded to re-install McAfee. All seems to be working now. If you could, please review my HiJackThis Log to advise if there are any other items that require attention as the computer is still slow. Thanks….
Are you saying McAfee was stopping your internet connection?

Only a few minor ones

Run hijackthis. Hit None of the above, Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a Check in the box on the left side on these:

You should be good to go.
Hi LDTate; Thanks for the reply. Yes, I found that disabling all McAfee items using "msconfig" under the Service Tab allowed me to get the Internet Access back up and working. I just finished downloading and re-installing McAfee and all is working fine now. I can only assume that it was a problem associated with the McAfee files. I have used HiJackThis and fixed the items you suggested. Thanks again…..
