nsis installer - ijji gunz totally freaking me out!

hello happy helpers, my son has apparently installed something weird. i cannot get rid of it. every two seconds i get: popup window install ijji gunz and sometimes nsis launching fault. i am now working for two days and nothing helped so far. i have used trojan hunter, adaware, hijack this, but i am not succeeding. please help me … i cannot find where it is hiding… also my computer starts up with : sonic activating module, which i do not have, and i have to shut it down 9 times before i can start working… how can i stop this? thank you so much for helping, it really affects my job .. ilse

Did you try removing iiji - Gunz in Add/Remove Programs, if it is there?

To resolve the Sonic Activation Module issue, download the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility and follow the directions:

Edit: You will have to post to the HijackThis Logs and Spyware/Malware Removal forum if you want someone to analyze your HJT log.

Sorry to hear of the problems with your computer.

It looks as though your son has tried to download and install this game but the install has not quite completed correctly.

It might be best to go to Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove programmes and uninstall the relevant entries, you may have to search quite hard to find them. You may then need to delete the remaining folder for the programme ijji or Gunz. ( have a look in C:\ Program Files to start with.)
