Hi dman33733and welcome to Tom Coyote forums

I am currently looking over your log. As I am an Undergraduate, everything that I post to you must be checked by an Admin or Moderator. Thus, there may be a tiny bit of a delay between posts, but it shouldn't be too long. I will post back shortly with a potential fix.

Thanks for your patience!
dan
Hi dman33733

Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.
  • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
  • Click the Scan for Vundo button.
  • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
  • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
  • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
  • When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
  • Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot.

Please download DelDomains by WinHelp2002 and save it to your desktop:
  • Right-click on DelDomains.inf, and choose Install.
  • You may not see any noticeable changes or prompts; this is normal.
  • Then, please restart your computer, and post a new HijackThis log.
  • You will have to re-immunize with SpywareBlaster, IE-SPYAD, and/or Spybot - Search & Destroy after doing this.
Please download ResetProtocolDefaults by WinHelp2002 and save it to your desktop:
  • Locate ResetProtocolDefaults.reg which should be on your desktop.
  • Right-click and select: Merge.
  • OK the prompt.
Please include new HJT log
in your next post
Thanks dan
Sorry, yes I do still need help! I just got a new monitor, as my old one died and am just now able to do what you told me. Give me a day to complete it and I'll post a new hijack this log. I actually couldn't get the last two links to work though, what can I do/what am I doing wrong with them?
Hi dman33733

Once you click on the link a script will open up, right click save page as and save to your desktop. Go to the desktop and the two files should be there, right click "DelDomains.inf" right click and click Install.
Do the same for "ResetProtocolDefaults.reg" when you right click the reg file on the desktop click merge.
let me know if you are still having problems
dan
Here is the newest hijack this log after doing everything you asked me to do:

Hi dman33733
Firstly can I ask if you run the vundo fix for me?
If yes can I see the report that it gives you. If you didn't run it, please run vudo fix and post the report.
I really need to see it.

Submit a file to Jotti
Please go here : http://virusscan.jotti.org/
On top of the page there is a field to add the filepath, browse and find the file click open which will place it in the field.

C:\WINDOWS\AppPatch\piuala.dll

Then hit Submit
The scan will take a while before the result comes up so please be patient.
Then copy the result and post it here in this thread.

If Jotti's service load is too high, you can use the following scanner instead:
http://www.virustotal.com/xhtml/index_en.html
post reports from jotti's and vundo txt

Thanks dan
