iexplore.exe help!

hi all my first posting here, i was refered from the micro mart forum where i am a member,
i have tried to remove this process (iexplore.exe) as descibed in the "read this first" section and i just carnt shift it,I have two instances of it runing even when i am using firefox with no IE windows open, one of them is using quite a bit of memory and i am getting the usual popup poker advertising etc,
