I use Google quite a bit so I get very frustrated when I click on their links and I wind up in a new search area like ToSeek or Marketsomething. This is very annoying.

I have been using Mcafee Virus scan for years and have never experienced a virus, so I figured I was okay. I don't know how I picked up this problem, but I don't see a solution on Mcafee.

I think I have followed your instructions as written, but I have no idea what ewido is supposed to mean and I did not have an icon on my desktop.

As I see it I am supposed to post the two files I created and then run AVG Anti spyware again and remove anything it finds. This takes 2 hours but I'll do it again if I must.

Here is the Anti spyware report:

Could you please send corresponding reports? :)

I am very confused about how to add text to these messages. I tried this once before and it didn't work.

Let's see if this works …

dayam. I don't know what happened to the other report. I'll have to look for it tonight.

Hi

That report should be here -> C:\fixwareout\report.txt :)

Thanks. I forgot about that.

I should tell you that I have rebooted several times and tried to see if the problem still existed. Apparently, it is gone. Please let me know what you think.
