Hello,

I have a problem with my startpage in IE6. It open with http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dll?p…&ar=msnhome and I can't change it. Is there a way to solve the problem?

Greetings,

Joop.
There's a setting in Zone Alarm. Program control > Main > Program control > custom > OS firewall > Change internet explorer homepage. If this is set to block (big red 'X'), then it's impossible to change the homepage. to fix, click the 'X' and change it to '?' (ask).

There's a setting in Zone Alarm.

Program control > Main > Program control > custom > OS firewall > Change internet explorer homepage.

Thank you for your answer. When I click: Program control > Main > Program control I don't see a custom button. There is a custom button in the area below program control (Automatic Lock) but there is no reference to a firewall.

How do I proceed?

Kindest Regards,

Joop.

There is a custom button in the area below program control (Automatic Lock)

Look in there then. If not there, check Zone Alarms web site and see if there's any information there on how to set the program options.

Were you able to correct the problem?

Yes I was. In Ad-Watch is an event log. There is an option "automatic" . I disabled this option and after that I changed the homepage in IE. Then there is a question of AdWatch as to accept the changes or not. I accepted the changes and abled the "automatic"option again. The MSN page didn't show up any longer.

I found this solution in the forum of AdWare (Lavasoft).

Greetings,

Joop.
