I'm not a computer wiz but after a few moments reading this webpage I think I understand. Now ladies and gentleman who can help me with this logfile from your service a person that read my ipdns number said I needed some major work. So if anyone could help I'll bake some christmas cookies.

I am currently looking over your log. As I am an Undergraduate, everything that I post to you must be checked by an Admin or Moderator. Thus, there may be a tiny bit of a delay between posts, but it shouldn't be too long. I will post back shortly with a potential fix. Thanks for your patience! dan

Hi elhelp0

You have highjackthis running from a temp folder here:- C:\DOCUME~1\user\LOCALS~1\Temp\Temporary Directory 2 for hijackthis[1].zip\HijackThis.exe

On your desktop screen right click, select New folder, and name it "HJT" now locate "HijackThis.exe" from your < temp folder > and copy and paste it into the new folder on the desktop you named "HJT"

The reason I ask for this is that HJT needs its own folder to make backups should we need them and temp folders are not the best place to keep them.
please do this and post a new HJT log.

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts.
You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so.
Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

Once the desktop loads a text that will open (report.txt) Please save this file, you'll need to post it with a new HijackThis log.



Next:
Click Start> Run> type in CMD tap enter key
Copy/Paste: ipconfig /flushdns


Now lets check some settings on your system.
Enter your Control Panel and double-click on Network Connections

Then right click on your Default Connection
Usually Local Area Connection for Cable and DSL
Left click on Properties
Double-Click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item
Select the radio dial that says Obtain DNS Servers Automatically
Press OK twice to get out of the properties screen and reboot if it asks

Please post the wareout report text plus the jotti's results.

Check for missing files ….. C:\WINDOWS\system32\AUTOEXEC.NT not there ….. End check for missing files ….. please post this at the forum I got that from the second website u sent me to dan and I have no idea where this poxy server is and no idea about this system thing u want me to download altho I've done everything else on the page u asked me to do ~Sal Ps I was just on Cnet.com trying to download a systemkey and no luck

Dan21 you are awesome the webpage that was f8ckin up for me before is perfect you truly are a king amoung men . Altho I'm worried a lil bout the systemkey and not being able to find autoexec.nt is that going to be a problem for me ?

You need to dowload the correct fix for your operating system.
Once the missing file or files are replaced, You need to reboot and then run FixWareout again and post the report.

Do not download anything unless I specify you to, for the duration of your fix.
don't worry about system key
