Hi,

Whenever I try to reach a site in the bbc.co.uk domain IE 6.02 stalls, I'll see a URL's like the following in the status bar,

http://bxnu.com/?dn=eurosamp.com&pid=1PO1172SS
http://bxnu.com/?dn=autovorota.com&pid=1PO1172SS

and finally I am redirected to some meaningless site with headings like "Today's most Visited links" and "Popular Destination."

Not sure how long I have had this problem since it has been a few weeks since I have visited any BBC sites but for now the redirects seem to occur only in these instances.

I have run full scans as directed in Forum FAQ with SpyBot and AdAware and have NOD32 and ZoneAlarm 6.1.744 on an XP SP2 system with all the latest updates installled. Also, I have read and followed the directions in the Self-Help article "How to remove JUPK.COM "Self Help", JUPK.COM / BXNU.COM" but the redirects continue to occur.

My HiJack, and fixwareout logs at this point are as listed below:

No need to download again but please run it. Sometimes it takes 4-5 times running Fixwareout and the flushdns to remove the bad 017's

Double Click Fixwareout.exe and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts.
You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so.
Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

Once the desktop loads a text that will open (report.txt) Please save this file, you'll need to post it with a new HijackThis log.

Next:
Click Start> Run> type in CMD tap enter key
Copy/Paste: ipconfig /flushdns
If you are typing this in, note the space between the g /f
It needs to be there.

Now lets check some settings on your system.
Enter your Control Panel and double-click on Network Connections

Then right click on your Default Connection
Usually Local Area Connection for Cable and DSL
Left click on Properties
Double-Click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item
Select the radio dial that says Obtain DNS Servers Automatically
Note: Do this for all Network Connections
Press OK twice to get out of the properties screen and reboot if it asks

Download and Save Blacklight to your desktop:

Doubleclick on blbeta.exe.

Click on Scan.

Once the Scan is Finished, click on Next.

Click on Exit.

A new document will be produced on the desktop.

Open this document with Notepad.

Copy and Paste its contents your next reply.
