Just trying to update sons computer and something isn't right. Could use some help please.

- Just updating AVG. upgrade to new 7.5 on 30 day trial. System cannot update fails to connect to server.

so I started looking around and other issues that make me wonder..

-Spybots resident SDHelper is missing and I cannot get to activate in the tools.

-CCleaner will not update. When I click on update a blank ie page opens and nothing else

- Hijack this will not update. Unable to connect to server

- Thought I would run a Trend House call scan and after it connects to the trend site and the scan starts the ie shuts itself down. (Scan starts but then the entire ie shuts down)

I am able to update ADAWARE and SPYBLASTER Ok.
Here is log. Could download newest HIJACK if it will help but will await guidance.
