Even if the "pop-up" option is set to "block all pops-up" on the Microsoft Internet Explorer Options, J get random pops-up during my browsing.
I have Spyware Doctor and NAV, both installed and running on my P.C. and also if sometimes the Spyware Doctor system scanning detects and eliminates some "spyware", the random pops-up still remains.
Could you please help me to solve this problem ???? Thank-you in advance for all you can do !!

Please Download NoLop to your desktop from one of the links below…

  • First close any other programs you have running as this will require a reboot
  • Double click NoLop.exe to run it
  • Now click the button labelled "Search and Destroy"
    <>
  • When scanning is finished you will be prompted to reboot only if infected, Click OK
  • Now click the "REBOOT" Button.
  • A Message should popup from NoLop. If not, double click the program again and it will finish.
Please Post the contents of C:\NoLop.log, along with a fresh HijackThis log.

–If you receive an error, "mscomctl.ocx or one of its dependencies are not correctly registered," please download mscomctl.ocx to your system32 folder then rerun the program. –

Hallo, I did exactlely as you suggested: ruuning NoLop discovered an infected file and fixed it but the pops-up still remains (one of this pops-up is on my screen now). :scratch:

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!

Run Hijack This!
Click "Do a systen scan only".
Then "check" the box to the left of these item(s):

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [one ref audio poll] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Dati applicazioni\BAGSSTYLEONEREF\globalamen.exe

Then click "Fix checked" and close Hijack This!.

Reboot in "safe" mode.

Delete all of the following noted (in red) file(s)/FOLDER(s) you can find:

c:\documents and settings\all users\dati applicazioni\bagsstyleoneref <— FOLDER

Some malware files may be "hidden".
Be sure to show hidden files when looking for these file(s) and/or folder(s).

Reboot in normal mode and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis! log file into this thread. :)

Well,
I performed all steps you suggested:

-closed all windows and programs
-ran a "System Scan only" with Hijack This!
-checked the boxes of the 2 items you suggested and fixed them
-rebooted the system in "safe mode"
-deleted the folder "c:\documents and settings\all users\dati applicazioni\bagsstyleoneref" and his contents
-rebooted the system in "normal mode"
-ran one more time Hijack This! to analyse the system and save a log file

I hope this is the last step fixing my problem (isn't it ??) and I wont to thank you a lot for your assistance and for all the help you perform for the people (like me) they are not so used to the spyware-malware problems. Finally I want to ask to you: how can I avoid theese problems in the future ???
