I clicked on an unsavory link yesterday and immediately it installed a program called virusbusters. After that I would get a ton of popups trying to sell virus software. I was able to get rid of that program and a few other problems with some downloaded fixes. The only remaining problem (more of an annoyance) is a small windows logo that flashes every second with a white exclamation mark in the system tray. Several seconds after the computer boots up, it shows a balloon with a security warning on it. Also, every now and then a window comes up that looks like it is trying to install another virus program. Below is my HJT log.
