TNX!
SwakMan :D

Welcome to Tom Coyote You have a few infections going on, please realize its not just a matter of removing entries with HJT, it goes much deeper than that.

First thing I we need to do is remove Newdotnet,

Not always but sometimes removing NewDotNet will disrupt your internet access, so download this tool first to your desktop, only use it in the event you lose internet access after removing NewDotNet.
Winsockxpfix

Please open your Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel and uninstall New.Net or NewDotNet from there if listed. If it is not listed, follow these instructions:
  • From a computer that has Internet access, click on the following link:
    Uninstall .
  • Download and save uninstall6_90.exe to the Desktop.
  • Go to the Desktop and double-click on uninstall6_90.exe
  • Click on the OK button.
  • After removal, you may be prompted to reboot. Please reboot even if not prompted.

Now I need you to run the Combofix tool for other infections that you have.
Please download ComboFix by sUBs from either of these two locations

BleepingComputerComboFix
TechSupportForumComboFix
  • Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply along with a new HJT log please.
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.

I need to see the log from Combofix and a New HJT log please.
tnx for the quick reply… but adwares still keep on popping up…

heres the latest HJT

Swakman,

Lets do this. Please keep in mind that with the infections you had, it takes more than a mouse click to get rid of them, some of these pests go very deep.

Print out the following instructions as you will not have Internet Access for the rest of this fix.

Download Process Explorer from here
http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/ProcessExplorer.html

Download Pocket Killbox to your desktop, unzip it to a folder that you can find

Reboot in "safe" mode.

Unzip Process Explorer and double click on procexp.exe

In the top section of the Process Exlporer screen double-click on winlogon.exe to bring up the winlogon.exe properties screen.
Click on the Threads tab at the top.

Once you see this screen click on each instance of:

winghy32.dll once and then click the kill button.

After you have killed all of: winghy32.dll under winlogon click OK.

BE SURE TO KILL ONLY THIS FILE!!!

Next double-click on explorer.exe,
select the Threads tab, and again click once on each instance of: winghy32.dll

then click the kill button.

BE SURE TO KILL ONLY THIS FILE!!!

Once you have done that click OK again.

Next run Hijack This! and place a check beside each of the following. This may be gone if it is you can skip this step

O20 - Winlogon Notify: winghy32 - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winghy32.dll

* Open Pocket Killbox

* Highlight the file with the complete path in the quote and press Ctrl C on your keyboard.

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winghy32.dll

* Go to File > Paste from clipboard
* Set it to Delete on Reboot
* Tick the box that says End Explorer shell while killing file
* If its not greyed out..Click the radio button that say Unregister .dll before deleting.
* Make sure Single File is selected
* Click on the Red circle with the white X
* It will ask you to confirm the deletion…Say yes
* It will ask you to reboot, say yes

There is a marker in your log for the Smitfraud infection, lets just run option # 1 to see if its present or not.

Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.
http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip
Extract all the files to your Destop. A folder named SmitfraudFix will be created on your Desktop.

[external image: Posted Image]

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter

[external image: Posted Image]

This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. It will create a file named: c:\rapport.txt

We suggest you stop at this point and post a HijackThis log along with the contents of the c:\rapport.txt

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options until you are asked to do so!
only found 1 winghy32.dll to kill it was in the winlogon tab.

The "error loading C:\WINDOWS\System32\drvfuc.dl the specified module could not be found" still pops up at startup.

uhmm, cud u give me some tips on how to fix the error that always appears during startup… the one that I was talking about in my last posts

tnx
Your log is looking 99% better

Lets plug the hole in Java that could be letting some of this stuff back in.
  • Your Java is out of date and leaving your system vulnerable.
  • Go to your Add-Remove Programs in the Control Panel and uninstall any previous versions of Java (J2SE Runtime Environment)
  • It should have an icon next to it:
    [external image: Posted Image]
    Select it and click Remove.
  • Reboot your system.
  • Then go to the Sun Java website and download and install the update.
  • Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 9 <–This is what you need to download and install.
  • Then after install you can verify your installation here Sun Java Verify

Open HJT Scan Only , make sure your browser is closed as is all open windows, the only thing you should have open is HJT.

Remove both these entries.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CTDrive] rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\drvfuc.dll,startup

You have Killbox installed, have it set to SINGLE FILE

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drvfuc.dll

Highlight the file with the complete path inside the Quote Box and press Ctrl C on your keyboard.
  • Open Pocket Killbox
  • Go to File > Paste from clipboard
  • Set it to Delete on Reboot
  • Tick the box that says End Explorer shell while killing file
  • If its not greyed out..Click the radio button that say Unregister .dll before deleting.
  • Make sure Single File is selected
  • Click on the Red circle with the white X
  • It will ask you to confirm the deletion…Say yes
  • It will ask you to reboot, say yes

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
  • This program is for XP and Windows 2000 only
  • Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
  • Under Main choose: Select All
  • Click the Empty Selected button.
Your system may start up slower after running ATF Cleaner, this is expected but will be back to normal after the first or second boot up

Post a new log and let me know if that error is gone and how your system is running now
TNX KEN EVERYTHING SEEMS OK NOW… The Error is already gone…

THIS is my latest HJT
